Contributors
Simon Bolwig is a Senior Researcher and leader of the research group
Climate Change and Sustainable Development, Department of Management Engineering, Technical University of Denmark. He contributed to
the Fifth IPCC Assessment Report, Mitigation of Climate Change (2014),
where he was lead author on Chapter 4, Sustainable Development and
Equity, and contributing author on Chapter 11, Agriculture, Forestry and
Other Land Use. He has published several journal articles on bioeconomy
topics.
Andreas Brekke is a Senior Research Scientist at Ostfold Research. His
main line of work is in the field of life cycle assessment (LCA) and he has
contributed to books such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the Building
Sector: Strengths and Weaknesses (2014) and Resourcing in Business Logistics
(2006). He is author and co- author of a wide range of articles on issues
connected to LCA, waste and biomaterials.
Markus M. Bugge works as a Senior Researcher at NIFU (Nordic Institute
for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education), and is Associate Professor at the Department of Technology Systems at the University of Oslo.
He holds a PhD from the Department of Social and Economic Geography
at Uppsala University, and has extensive experience from his research on
the systemic and evolutionary underpinnings of knowledge production,
innovation and innovation policies.
Marco Capasso is a Senior Researcher at NIFU (Nordic Institute for Studies
in Innovation, Research and Education), Oslo (Norway). He has worked
in the scientific fields of econometrics, economic geography and economics of innovation, and his research has been published in a wide variety
of scientific journals, including Industrial and Corporate Change, International
Statistical Review, Regional Studies and Small Business Economics. He is currently participating in the projects “Sustainable path creation for innovative value chains for organic waste products”, funded by the Research
Council of Norway, and “Where does the green economy grow? The
geography of Nordic sustainability transitions”, funded by the Nordic
Green Growth Research and Innovation Programme.
