In the United States, the daily Sb intake from food is of approximately 4.6 μg; in
Canada, it is 7.44 μg (Health Canada 1999); in France, it is 3 μg (Noël et al. 2003);
and in the United Kingdom, it is 2.3  μg (Rose et  al. 2010). These intakes are far
below the tolerable limit, established as tolerable daily intake of 6  μg/kg bw/day
(approximately 47 μg for 70 kg body) (WHO 2003).
