species, the co-introduction of six parasite species and the acquisition of nineteen
parasite species that are native from the Mediterranean Sea. Parasite richness,
prevalence and intensity were overall much higher in the exotic range compared to the
native one. The native population of F. commersonii maintained all its known Red Sea
Digenea. Finally, the analysis of E. golanii allowed to identify three parasites at
different developmental stages.
