Similar problems of river mouth choking and sand bar formation was
also observed at varions sites in India. The training of river months was
evaluated as a viable solution and based on the field studies the alignment
of training walls was distinguished according to the sites. The imageries
on the results from the other sites, namely Chettuvai (10°30'29.72"N,
76°2'20.33"E) and Kallai (11° 13'37.77"N, 75°46'44.89"E) are projected in
Figs. 4.36 and 4.37, respectively.
