to the original shore (0b)- The hydraulic conditions include wave characteristics (height (Hs); period (T); prédominant wave angle (0) whereas, the
water level include water depth at structure and tidal range. Apart from
the above, the sédiment properties are represented by the sand médian size
(/?50). There hâve been considérable numerical and physical model studies
from which the general behaviour of the shoreline depending on the variations in the above stated parameters could be ascertained. Pictorial représentations of the parameters that govern the formation of salient/tombolo
are presented in Fig. 4.5(c).
