What do you measure this success by?
Martin Lehnheff: It was our ambition to réalisé Butendiek "on time and within budget" as they say. Our
goal was to show the wind power industry and the politisai environment that financially attractive offshore projects can be realised with the current rémunération regimen. And that is what we achieved,
and in doing so we contributed towards bringing renewable energies even doser to the compétition on
the market. For me it was a major motivation to prove that offshore wind power can be justified both
politically and financially and that technologically it can be controlled. Butendiek is an important stepping-stone towards that goal.
