Interview with
Martin Lehnhoff
Project Manager of Butendiek
Now that Butendiek has been opened, do you not miss something in your working life?
Martin Lehnhoff: Definitely. Butendiek really did keep me occupied every day for the last four and a half
years. It is one of the most demanding and largest projects which I hâve so far managed. So yes I do
miss it.
Why does Butendiek hold such a high status for you?
Achim Berge Olsen: It was the size of the project: in terms of its duration, the challenges and the size
of the investment budget, Butendiek was a really demanding project which reguired a high level of
attention right up to the last moment. Together with the investors from whom we enjoyed support at
ail times, we were able to quickly find a solution for every problem that cropped up. That contributed to
the success of Butendiek.
