Il est par ailleurs possible que l’antagonisme algal ait une influence significative sur le
devenir des populations bactériennes, les deux types d’organismes pouvant être inhibés
par les mêmes substances. Il pourrait donc exister une certaine co-régulation des deux
populations mêlant des aspects trophiques et antagonistes.
