Description of stages in mollusc. Anisogamy and sporogony occur in
molluscan host ; oocyst or zygote contains numerous spores ; each spore
includes two sporozoites, each measuring 4-5 p in diameter (Fig. 47).

Life cycle. LBger and Duboscq (1915) have given a detailed account
of the formation of micro- and macrogametes from gametocytes in
