different RNAs and of their function in the cell has changed the relevancy of some of these questions (see, for instance, review in Sirlin,
1963). However, what meaning is to be attached to the liberation of
ribonucleic acids by the nucleolus at prophase or to the shedding of what
is probably a different R N A by the chromosomes at anaphase is still
not clear (p. 207).
