Caractérisation de l’élevage de la crevette
Litopenaeus vannamei (Boone, 1931)

RESUME
L'aquaculture de la crevette Péneide Litopenaeus vannamei occupe une position majeure au
sein des productions animales. L’Algérie y participe activement grâce à une stratégie de
développement de l'élevage. La réussite de ce dernier, exige des conditions sine qua non, à
savoir le choix de la source d’eau convenable à l’espèce candidate, le développement d’une
procédure de mise en charge, ainsi qu’un protocole d’acclimatation et en dernier lieu, la
connaissance des besoins nutritionnels conçus pour un tel mode d’élevage.
Suivant ce principe, cette étude a été réalisée à la ferme pilote de la Marsa (Skikda) qui est
sous la tutelle du CNRDPA et en partenariat avec la Corée du sud, pour maitriser la technique
de reproduction dans des conditions de captivité et d’améliorer l’élevage de la Litpenaeus
vanammei. Cette performance est portée sur le suivi du milieu et l’adaptation des géniteurs, la
reproduction et l’élevage larvaires jusqu'à l’obtention des post-larves prêtes à être transférées
à la ferme de Ouargla pour le pré-grossissement et le grossissement.

ABSTRACT
The shrimp aquaculture Péneide Litopenaeus vannamei occupies a major position in animal
production. Algeria participates actively through a strategy of livestock development The
success of the latter, requires conditions sine qua non, namely the choice of the water source
suitable for the candidate species, the development of a loading procedure, as well as an
acclimation protocol and, lastly, knowledge of the nutritional requirements designed for such
a
breeding
method.
Following this principle, this study was carried out at the pilot farm of La Marsa (Skikda),
which is under the supervision of CNRDPA and in partnership with South Korea, to master
the breeding technique under captive conditions and to improve the breeding of Litpenaeus
vanammei. This performance is focused on the monitoring of the environment and the
adaptation of the spawners, breeding and rearing larvae until obtaining a post-larvae ready to
transport to the farm of Ouargla for pre-enlargement and magnification.
