Inventaire des Spongiaires et des Bryozoaires de la côte Algérienne
Résumé
L'objectif de ce travail est d'établir un inventaire des Spongiaires et des Bryozoaires qui va contribuer à alimenter la
base de données nationale BANBIOM et qui permettra de rassembler un maximum d'informations sur les espèces
marines présentes tout au long du littoral Algérien, et d’effectuer une étude comparative avec les résultats obtenus à
partir des travaux de recherche menés sur d'autres zones marines situées à l'Ouest, au Centre et à l'Est du littoral du
pays afin de mettre en évidence la différence de biodiversité caractérisant chaque site.
L’inventaire des deux embranchements réalisé dans le cadre de la présente étude de la côte Algérienne, a permis
d’établir une liste de 53 espèces de Spongiaires et 133 espèces de Bryozoaires actualisées par le filtre WoRMS
(World Register of Marine Spieces). Pour les Spongiaires, la liste élaborée constitue des espèces renseignées
appartenant à 15 ordre et 28 familles, pour les Bryozoaires, ces espèces appartiennent à 3 ordre et 54 familles, dont
une espèce non validée taxonomiquement. L’étude systématique a pour but d’enrichir l’inventaire et de le présenter
comme un document de référence sur les deux phylums.

Summary
The objective of this work is to establish an inventory of Sponges and Bryozoa which will contribute to
the national database BANBIOM and will make it possible to gather as much information as possible on
the marine species present along the Algerian coast, and to carry out a comparative study with results
obtained from research work carried out on other marine areas located in the West, Center and East of the
country’s coast in order to highlight the difference in biodiversity characterizing each site.
The inventory of the two branch lines carried out as part of this study of the Algerian coast made it
possible to establish a list of 53 species of Sponges and 133 species of Bryozoa updated with WoRMS
(World Register of Marine Spieces) database and filter. For the sponges phyllum, the list of documented
speciesconstitutesin15 orders and 28 families, and for the Bryozoa phyllum, 3 orders and 54 families,
including one species not accepted taxonomically. The systematic study aims to enrich the Algerian
inventory and present it as a reference document for the two phylum.
