Résumé
Située dans la partie occidentale du littoral de Tipasa, à environ 32 km du centre ville de
Tipaza, le site de Sidi Ghiles, est marqué par un rivage qui présente des atouts considérables,
notamment sur le plan paysager, urbanistique et touristique.Le rivage est le siège d’une
érosion importante qui a entraîné un recul du trait de côte d’une vingtaine de mètres au cours
des vingt dernières années. L’objectif de l’étude est de protéger le front côtier contre les
agressions liées à la mer et au ruissèlement des eaux, pour les besoins de cette étude, il a été
realize un levé topographique,un levé bathymétrique.L’analyse globale de la bathymétrie de la
zone d’étude indique une morphologie irrégulière marquée par endroits par des resserrements
des isobathes et des incurvations vers la côte.L’étude de la réfraction de la houle a été
effectuée pour objet de définir les caractéristiques de la houle à la côte. Ces caractéristiques
ont été utilisées pour le prédimensionnement des ouvrages maritimes.Trois directions ont été
retenues en tenant compte des tableaux de fréquence par direction des houles au large ainsi
que l’incidence de ces houles par rapport à la zone d’étude.L’analyse des résultats de la
réfraction a montré pour les houles pluri annuelles de direction Ouest (300°N) sont les plus
réfractées mais arrivent avec des houles plus importantes que celles des autres directions, d’où
le choix de cette houle pour le prédimensionnement des ouvrages de protection.

Located in the western part of the coast of Tipasa, about 32 km from the city center of

particularly in terms of landscape, town planning and tourism. the site of significant erosion
which has caused the coastline to retreat by around twenty meters over the past twenty years.
The objective of the study is to protect the coastal front against attacks linked to the sea and to
water runoff, for the purposes of this study, a topographic survey, a bathymetric survey was
carried out. the bathymetry of the study area indicates an irregular morphology marked in
places by constrictions of the isobaths and curvatures towards the coast. The study of the
refraction of the swell was carried out to define the characteristics of the swell at the These
characteristics were used for the pre-dimensioning of the maritime structures. Three directions
were retained, taking into account the frequency tables by direction of the offshore swells as
well as the incidence of these swells in relation to the study area. The analysis of the
