Résumé
La mer Méditerranée, c’est le centre de la biodiversité marine du monde. qui se charge de la
planète et le bien-être social, elle contribue directement et indirectement à la sécurité
alimentaire des millions de familles notamment à faibles revenus. Les macro-algues parmi les
phylums qui intéressent les chercheurs, la valorisation des algues s’étaient orientées vers la
source de production de phycocolloïde et de composés ayant plusieurs intérêts dans le monde.
La flore algale du littoral algérien reste largement inexplorée, nous avons réalisé ce travail pour
mieux connaitre les espèces des macrophytes distribuées sur le littoral algérien dont l’intérêt
biotechnologique, afin d’établir un inventaire et de sélectionner les taxons qui peuvent être mis
en valeur, déterminer en dernier point les opportunités économiques pour le développement de
cette filière en Algérie.

Abstract
The Mediterranean Sea is the center of the world's marine biodiversity. which takes care of the
planet and social well-being, it contributes directly and indirectly to the food security of
thousands of low-income families. The macroalgae among the phyla of interest to researchers,
the valuation of algae had been oriented towards the source of production of phycocolloid and
compounds with many interests in the world.
The algale flora of the algerian littoral remains largely unexplored, we carried out this work To
better know the species of macrophytes distributed on the algerian littoral whose
biotechnological interest, in order to establish an inventory and to select the taxa which can be
highlighted , lastly determine the economic opportunities for the development of this sector in
Algeria.
