Résumé :
Les rejets d’effluents mixtes – urbains et industriels – constituent une des pressionsmajeures qui
s’exercent sur l’herbier de Bou Ismaïl. Les résultats du premier suivi de la limite supérieure de
l’herbier à Posidonia oceanicadu front de mer de la ville de Bou Ismaïl, sept ans après la mise en
place du balisage en 2015et la mise en service de la STEP en 2019, confirment le caractère
régressif de cette limite, matérialisé in situà l’échelle de population par une structure en
patchiness avec une augmentation de la densité et une diminution du recouvrement suiteaux rejets
d’effluents – et/ou à la nature hétérogène du substrat. La variabilité des paramètres de vitalité à l’échelle
individuelle semble traduire une amélioration des conditions du milieu.

Summary:
Mixed effluent discharges - urban and industrial - are one of the major pressures on the
BouIsmaïl seagrass bed. The results of the first monitoring of the upper limit of the Posidonia
oceanica meadow of the sea front of the city of BouIsmaïl, seven years after the installation of
the marking in 2015 and the commissioning of the WWTP in 2019, confirms the regressive
character of this limit, materialized in situ at the population scale by a patchiness structure with
an increase in density and a decrease in coverage following the effluent discharges and / or the
heterogeneous nature of the substrate. Variability in vitality parameters at the individual scale
seems to reflect improved environmental conditions.
