Résumé
Le présent travail a pour objectifs de réaliser une recherche afin de préciser des possibilités
biotechnologiques pour quelques espèces d’algues récoltées de la côte algérienne.
La récolte des algues aux niveaux des quatre sites d’échantillonnage, montre une bonne richesse
algale, avec 38 espèces identifiées appartenant aux trois groupes d’algues : Rhodobiontes,
Chromobiontes et Chlorobiontes.
Les résultats de cette recherche montrent que toutes ces algues ont des possibilités d’utilisations
dans divers domaines comme en alimentation humaine et animale, en médecine, en
pharmacologie, en cosmétologie, en agronomie…etc.
Une liste floristique est établie, ainsi que chaque espèce est décrite en précisant sa distribution
géographique et sa valorisation biotechnologique pour des éventuelles utilisations ultérieures en
Algérie.

Summary
The present work aims to carry out research in order to specify the biotechnological possibilities
for some species of algae that were harvested on the Algerian coast.
The seaweed harvesting at the four sampling sites shows a good algal richness, with 38 identified
species belonging to the three groups of algae : Rhodobionts, Chromobionts and Chlorobionts.
The results of this research show that all these algae have possibilities of use in various fields
such as human and animal food, medicine, pharmacology, cosmetology, agronomy…etc.
A floristic list is established, as well as each species is described by specifying its geographical
distribution and its biotechnological valuation for possible future use in Algeria.
