Mouth large and cleft almost vertically.
Nostrils somewhat large; eyes small.
Teeth on vomer, but

Body color purple or yellow varying in accordance with the
environment in which the fish live.
There are poisonous lines on the dorsal tin.
Live in the sandy, mudd_v region and the gravelled regions
of the continental shelt.
Bottom fish which eat inacitve small fishes and small
marine animals.
Extent of migration narrow.
They seldom swim; usually
remain stationary at the bottom, but sometimes make
intermittent moVements.
Found in the waters of the central and southern parts of
lapan‘s main island.
Caught by trawlers.
Bulbus oltactorius small and closely attached to large lobus
oltactorius, which consists of upper and lower layers.
Lobus interior small but expanded laterally.
Saccus vasculosus oblong and large.
Corpus cerebelli small and almost same size as
telencephalon.
Lobus vagi slightly expanded.
