Descriptive notes:
Adults attain about 20cm in body length.

More or less elongated body and slightly compressed.
TÊ<Ë?ËËlËÈËËSËÉÜÎËV.
Mouth large, eyes small.
Nostrils relatively large.
Body color light yellow with five indistinct spots.
ËË ' lË'JËÊÊt/J\Êäîälàä ( %iËLÎL‘ZË).
Blotches are scattered on the second dorsal fin.
Live in the brackish and salt waters of sandy and muddy
of shallow seas along the coasts.
Always remain
stationary.
Eat small marine animals at the sea bottom and the

neighborhood located by means of gustatory, olfàctory
senses
and sight.
Extent of migration narrow.

Swimming movement slow.
Distribution extends from the coastal waters of the southern
part of Hokkaido to Kyushu.
Caught by pole and lines and trawlers.
