constructing an integrated daily satellite monitoring system (Kostianoy et al. 2005,
2006, 2013b; Lavrova et al. 2011) for Nigeria is the only way to build a modern
monitoring infrastructure capable of solving one of the most serious environmental
problems in Nigeria—oil pollution of the marine environment (Evoh 2009).
