We shall encounter the submodel feature again in Chapter 9. As you develop your own models with submodels, the following hint may prove useful. When you open a submodel, it may overlap with other model components and the STELLA diagram may be difficult to read . You should rearrange
the rest of your model so that expansion of the submodel does not compromise clarity and model transparency. To rearrange model components outside the submodel, hold down the Command Key (for Macintosh) or Control
Key (in Windows) to access the components outside the model. Move them
to where you want them to be when the submodel is open. Notice that they
remain at their original positions when the submodel is closed .
