TYPE LOCALITY: snow-melt pool at Zenibako,
Japan 16 km west of Sapporo, Japan.
DISTRIBUTION: known only from the area
around Sapporo, Hokkaido, northern Japan.
COMMENTS: described from males only in
Chirocephalopsis; transferred to Eubranchipus by
Moryia (1985) who also described the female. Recognized here as a member of the subgenus Drepanosurus
Simon, 1886.
