influenced by the human activities carried out in the entire Danube basin: the building of flood plain dykes and dams, hydrotechnical accumulations, erosion control
works and catchment works (especially for irrigation purposes) and development of
economic activities in the Danube basin (industry, agriculture, energy, transportation, and other activities).
