the effect of Dfz2 misexpression in discs from wg ts mutants reared at the
restrictive temperature. Both Ac and Dll expression was dramatically
reduced in these discs to levels seen in wgfs discs grown under the same
conditions.
These findings show that receptor phenotypes in vivo are dependent
on the ligand and they further support the evidence that Dfz2 and W g
interact in vivo.
