Results
By morphometric indications the Laptev Sea can be divided into three regions: the northern,
central and southern part. The depth in the northern part is rather large and amplitude of extreme
level oscillations at stations located in this region (Maliy Taymir) is rather small and not
exceeding 200 cm. Absolute maximums and minimums at most of the stations of this region do
not exceed 100 cm.
With decrease in depths of the regions, the magnitude of the extreme level oscillations begins
