Identical Components Bound to Oi- or Polyvalent Groups
Such compounds are named by first marking the positions of attachment
of the parent components with the central group, then the name of that
group followed by the multipliers di..., tri ... (or bis ... , tris ... ) etc., and
finally the name of the parent component including its characteristic
group(s). Additional substituents are accounted for by prefixes, with the
following priorities of numbering being observed:
1. characteristic groups (suffixes)
2. positions of attachment
3. prefix substituents
