International Hydrographie Bureau (IHB), International Hydrographie

The IHO is an organization eonsisting of hydrographie ageneies from most of the
maritime countries around the world. The IHO was established in 1921 and supports
safety in navigation and proteetion of the marine environment. One of their major efforts is the ereation of an International Standard for digital hydrographieal charts.
