may be elements of a network. An example is a road network with variable trafiic intensity along the roads.

CV_DomainObject
A domain objeet (class CV _ DomainObjeet) represents an element of the spatiotemporal domain of the coverage. It is an aggregation of objects that may include
any combination of GM_Objects or other spatial or temporal objects defined in the
ISO 19100 standards. A domain object is used to address spatial or temporal parts of
the coverage like the grid points or larger portions.
CV_ ValueObject
A value object (class CV _ ValueObject) represents an element ofthe spatiotemporal domain of a continuous coverage. A value object is used to address spatial or
temporal parts of the continuous coverage like a triangle of the TIN. A value object
may be the result of an evaluation of a continuous coverage and thus data not persistent in the coverage.
CV_ GeometryValuePair
A geometry value pair (class CV _GeometryValuePair) deseribes an element of a
eoverage. As the name implies, eaeh geometry value pair eonsists of two parts: a
geometrie objeet like a point and a reeord of associated feature values like its elevation and its soil type.
CV_ GridPointValuePair
A grid point value pair (class CV _GridPointValuePair) is eomposed of a grid
point and a feature attribute value reeord.
