GM_ GeodesicString
A geodesie string (class GM _ GeodesieString) eonsists of a sequenee of positions
interpolated using a geodesie (class GM _Geodesie) defined from the geoid or ellipsoid of the Coordinate Referenee System being used.
A geodesie is the shortest line between two points on an arbitrary surfaee. In the
trivial ease of a plane, the geodesie is the straight line between two points. In navigation the geodesie on an ellipsoid is ealled the orthodrome.

An are string (class GM_AreString) eonsists of a sequenee of ares. Sinee it requires 3 points to determine a eireular are, the eontrolPoints are treated as a sequenee
of overIapping sets of 3 positions, the start of eaeh are, some point between the start
and end, and the end of eaeh are. Sinee the end of eaeh are is the start of the next,
this position is not repeated in the eontrolPoint sequenee.
