In Great Britain OS, has a wide and appropriate range of GIS topographic
products that are particularly pertinent and relevant to coastal zone applications and
readily available and accessible. Current and future investments and developments in
data, data technology and in infrastructures such as NGDF will ensure that there is
considerable potential for future involvement of GIS in the Coastal Zone.
