La plage de la « Lido» fait partie des nombreuses plages Algéroises touchées par un grave
phénomène de recule. Victime de son propre succès, il est notable que le littoral algérois a
connu, durant 19 ans entre 2000 et 2019 , une croissance urbanistique ainsi qu’une activité
anthropique accentuée. Néanmoins les enjeux sont là, au côté d'un risque d'immersion marine
des habitations souvent implantées trop près de la mer, se dresse une perspective d'expansion
touristique le long de la baie d'Alger. Ce travail traitera des causes liées au phénomène
d'érosion de cette plage,
Comme toute la côte algérienne est soumise à ce genre de phénomène ; dont les origines
peuvent venir de très loin, la zone de LIDO n’y échappe pas, il est donc souhaitable que des
études GIZC soient effectuées pour non seulement trouver des solutions adéquates mais aussi
harmoniser le type de protection ou proposer des solutions à la hauteur du phénomène
observé.

he "Lido" beach is one of the many Algiers beaches affected by a serious backward
phenomenon. Victim of its own success, it is notable that the Algerian coast experienced,
during 19 years between 2000 and 2019, an urban growth as well as an accentuated anthropic
activity. Nevertheless the stakes are there, alongside a risk of marine immersion of the
dwellings often located too close to the sea, there is a prospect of tourist expansion along the
bay of Algiers. This work will deal with the causes linked to the erosion phenomenon of this
beach,
As the whole Algerian coast is subject to this kind of phenomenon; whose origins can come
from far away, the LIDO area is no exception, it is therefore desirable that GIZC studies be
carried out to not only find adequate solutions but also harmonize the type of protection or
offer solutions that match of the phenomenon observed.
