Contribution à la systématique des Lophiidae dans le bassin algérien,
croissance et exploitation de la baudroie rousse Lophius budegassa (Spinola,
1807) de la région centre algérienne
Résumé
La famille des Lophiidae, poisson Téléostéens, a été peu étudiée en Méditerranée et presque
jamais en Algérie. En Méditerranée, il existe deux représentants du genre : la baudroie rousse
Lophius budegassa (Spinola, 1807), et la baudroie blanche Lophius piscatorius Linnaeus,
1758. Le fait de la ressemblance morphologique entre les deux espèces entraine souvent à une
confusion entre elles. A partir de cette problématique, une contribution à l’étude systématique
des deux espèces s’avère nécessaire. Par la suite, apporter quelques éléments sur la croissance
et indices d’exploitation de l’espèce la plus exploitée L. budegassa. Enfin, une estimation
préliminaire du niveau d’exploitation actuel et optimal de L. budegassa sera réalisée par
l’application de modèles analytiques.

Abstract
The Family of Lophiidae, teleost fish, has been little studied in the Mediterranean and almost
never in Algeria. In Mediterranean, there are two representatives of the genus: the black
anglerfish Lophius budegassa (Spinola, 1807), and the white anglerfish Lophius piscatorius
Linnaeus, 1758. The fact of the morphological resemblance between the two species often leads
to confusion between them. From this issue, a contribution to the systematic study of both
species is needed. Thereafter, bring some elements on growth and exploitation indexes of the
most exploited species L. budegassa. Finally, a preliminary estimation of the Current and
optimal level of exploitation of L. budegassa will be carried by the application of analytical
models.
