contaminated seawater and sediment is the prerequisite
for future bioremediation applications to the Algerian
coasts. The collection of Algerian hydrocarbon biodegraders obtained in this study could be exploited for
biotechnological applications also integrated into newly
designed, ready to use, biodegradable scaffold-bacteria
systems (Scaffaro et al. 2017).
