« Apport de la télédétection et des SIG pour surveiller la trajectoire urbaine des
communes côtières de la Baie d’Alger »
RESUME
L’objectif global de ce travail de recherche est le suivi de l’urbanisation massive du littoral
algérois, en particulier par l’intégration de la télédétection, des SIG et donc de l’analyse spatiale
et des modèles spatio-temporels pour la surveillance, l’analyse, et la simulation de la croissance
urbaine de l’agglomération algéroise. Il s’agit d’un travail d’observation, et d’analyse à la fois
rétrospective et prospective (la trajectoire de l’expansion urbaine) de l’urbanisation dans la Baie
d’Alger, ce qui permettrait de comprendre les tendances futures et les impacts de l’expansion
urbaine sur le littoral algérois.

ABSTRACT
The main objectif of this research work is the monitoring of the massive urbanisation of Algiers’
coast, in particular by the integration of remote sensing, GIS and therefore of spatial analysis
and spatial-temporal models for monitoring, analysis, and simulation of urban growth in the
Algiers agglomeration . It is a work of observation and analysis of both retrospective and
prospective (the path of urban expansion) of urbanization in the Bay of Algiers , which would
include future trends and the impacts of urban development on the coast of Algiers.
