Résumé
Au vu des impacts environnementaux négatifs engendrés par les activités portuaires en Algérie,
l’adoption des ports verts est donc devenue inévitable pour la réduction de ces impacts. Pour cette
étude nous avons choisi le port d’Annaba compte tenu de sa dimension et de son importance socioéconomique. L’étude a été préparée en employant les méthodes d’identification, d’évaluation des
indicateurs de performance environnementale et d’atténuation des impacts négatifs, cette dernière
s’est déroulée en trois phases : une phase préparatoire qui a consisté à rassembler un maximum
d’informations sur le port d’Annaba, une phase de reconnaissance du fonctionnement du port et
d’enquête, sur terrain durant laquelle nous avons pu identifier les impacts environnementaux agissant
sur le port. Et pour finir, une phase de traitement et d’analyse des données collectées et d’élaboration
du rapport d’étude d’impact basé sur une approche qualitative des indices de performance
environnementaux du port. À la fin de cette étude nous avons pu constater que le port d’Annaba ne
peut être considéré comme un port vert compte tenu des écarts aux normes environnementales. Dans le
but de minimiser ces écarts et améliorer les performances du port d’Annaba nous proposons un plan
de gestion environnementale.

Abstract
In view of the negative environmental impacts generated by port activities in Algeria. The
adoption of green ports has therefore become inevitable for the reduction of these impacts. For this
study we have chosen the port of Annaba due to its size and socio-economic importance. The study
was prepared using the methods of identification, evaluation of environmental performance indicators
and mitigation of negative impacts, the latter was conducted in three phases: A preparatory phase
which consisted in gathering a maximum of documentation and information on the port of Annaba, a
phase of recognition of the operation of the port and field survey during which we were able to
identify the environmental impacts acting on the port and finally a phase of processing and analysis of
data collected and development of the impact study report based on a qualitative approach of
environmental performance indices of the port. At the end of this study, we found that the port of
Annaba cannot be considered as a green port given the deviations from environmental standards. In
order to minimize these deviations and improve the performance of the port of Annaba we proposed
an environmental management plan
