Résumé
Dans le cadre de l’utilisation des algues marines, nous sommes intéressées à étudier les
macroalgues marines de la région de Ain Benian en mettent en évidence leurs taxonomie et
leurs utilisation en biotechnologie. L’extraction des composés phénoliques des algues marines
ont été étudiée : deux algues brunes (Sargassum vulgare, Cutleria multifida), deux algues vertes
(Ulva rigida, Codium fragile) et une algue rouge (Jania rubens). Les effets de la nature du
solvant (acétone, éthanol, méthanol et eau distillée), sur l’extraction des composés phénoliques
des extraits ont été évalués. La teneur en polyphénols totaux a été déterminée afin d’optimiser les
meilleurs conditions d’extraction.

Abstract
In the context of the use of marine algae, we are interested in studying marine macroalgae in the
Ain Benian region, highlighting their taxonomy and their use in biotechnology. The extraction of
phenolic compound from marine algae has been studied: two brown algae (Sargassum vulgare,
Cutleria multifida), two green algae (Ulva rigida, Codium fragile) and one red algae (Jania
rubens). The effects of the nature of the solvent (acetone, ethanol, methanol and distilled water),
on the extraction of phenolic compounds from the extracts were evaluated. The content of total
polyphenols was determined in order to optimize the best extraction conditions.
