F. High-Performance Liquid Chromatography
In liquid chromatography, elution is not only performed at high speeds through
pressure on the column. Separation tubes with filler particle sizes in the range of
several millimeters and outstanding separation capabilities have been produced,
resulting in significant improvements in tube efficiency. This approach is known as
high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). HPLC boasts excellent sensitivity and allows for easy and precise analysis. Since it can be used to quickly
analyze non-volatile components and substances that are unstable in the presence of
heat, it is the most widely used of all separation and analysis methods. The HPLC
