circumstances, the fi gures for water uses of the Gaza strip should not have been
included, and the water infl ow from Israel into Gaza should have been taken into
consideration. But as we cannot make a point with concern to exact and verifi ed
information concerning the West Bank and Gaza, we consider the resulting differences as negligible as they would not change the overall picture.
Keeping in mind those limitations, an overview of the water balance of the Dead
Sea is presented in Fig. 13.1 and for the Lower Jordan Basin in Fig. 13.3 .
