8 Conclusion
In this article the nonlinear wave propagation through photorefractive media using
Manakov model is investigated. The CNLSE is obtained which is solved and found
the conditions under which soliton-waves can propagate. It is found that with an
appropriate choice of experimental parameters, the input beam profile can be made
to converge asymptotically to a soliton state whose PR nonlinearity compensate for
