The signal from the exposure timer is directed to the sync input of the pulse
laser if the pulse laser is used as a radiation source. After the exposure pulse, if
the switcher of the automatic processor is turned on, which is joined with the “ex”
regulator, then “The development timer” is automatically launched, the duration of
which is set by the regulator “PR”. The signal from the processor timer gets into the
heating block input, and as a result of this, the heating voltage of the “heating block”
gets into conductive sublayer of the sample of the registration medium through the
“overcurrent protection circuit”. This leads to heating of the sublayer, which heats
PF.
Electrical forces deform PF and the latent image turns into surface geometry.
After registration of the interferogram, it should be processed; i.e., the field of shifts
and deformations of the object (in this case the human chest) should be made up on
the image of fringes on the interferogram. For this purpose, the continuous He–Ne
laser and the phase modulation system of one of the reference beams are used. The
block diagram of one of the experimental units is presented in Fig. 3.39. With its
help, the regime of the recording of holograms and holographic interferograms on
the extensive reversible photothermoplastic semiconductor were processed.
3.3.3 Equations for Interference Fringes Interpretation
Let the studied area of the chest surface AB is illuminated by a point source placed
in the point O (Fig. 3.40).
The light scattered by the surface under study goes through the hologram into
the observation point P. The double-exposure hologram is registered with a doubled
