3.1.3 Universities’ Roles
To develop solutions for erosion problems, the “BebeR”-project established a platform for all relevant stakeholders. People from local and regional administrations,
farmers organizations, and politicians took part in workshops with the goal to find a
consensus on measures to mitigate the threats. The university had three roles within
this project:
• as project coordinator,
• as moderator,
