increasing the awareness of rural people towards some threats. These kinds of threats
might lead to the demise and extinction of their rural lifestyle which distinguishes
rural communities from any other. The most important feature of such threats is that
they are intangible and occur with the natural flow of the development of the rural
community. Only social and anthropological research can detect and analyze these
kinds of threats to avoid or at least mitigate their impacts on the culture of lifestyle
in desert communities (Abu Zaid 1991).
