diagonal and diagonal plus intramolecular cross peaks, respectively (Fig. 17d and
e), which can afterwards be used to construct chemically encoded images (Fig. 17b
and c). Mixing beads with the different carbonyls, the independently labelled
particles can be identified in the mixture based on their diagonal and cross peak
vibrational characteristics. That is, the blue dashed square (Fig. 17d) is a
representative spectrum of the blue region in Fig. 17b, and the red/orange dashed
squares (Fig. 17e) are representative contributions of the red/orange regions in
