4 Conclusion
Kinetic coefficients evaluated through experiments showed that the values were
corroborated with those obtained by earlier researchers. The batch study data exhibited that both COD and nitrogen removal took place by the mixed bacterial culture
grown in the laboratory under aerobic and anoxic conditions. The constants to be
used for design of a practical aerobic reactor utilizing the kinetic values.
