From Figs. 43 and 44, we note that C 2 changes with increasing x. In Fig. 45,
we have plotted C 1 versus carrier degeneracy in HDQFs of Cd S where (a) ¯
λ 0 = 0
and (b) ¯
λ 0 = 0. It appears that C 1 increases with decreasing carrier degeneracy in
