The pulsar navigation technology is with cutting-edge, innovative and interdisciplinary research characteristics. The creation of this book lasted more than 3 years.
Particularly, during the final stage of writing the manuscript, just when the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is rampant over the world, the retina of my left eye
detached due to overwork for writing. Fortunately, my vision is gradually recovering
after timely surgery. For the writing of this book, I always strive to be correct in
concept, clear in historical facts, feasible in method and credible in experiment, and
to make it knowledgeable, logical, interesting and readable. Nevertheless, there may
be inevitable omissions and defects in the text, and here my apology is extended to
every reader who reads this book.
Finally, it is expected that the publication of this book will help researchers to
well understand and master the basic concepts and principles, mathematical models
and algorithms, flight tests and demonstration of the pulsars and space navigations, to accelerate and haul the leapfrog development of astronautical cutting-edge
