10.3 Life Cycle Assessment
A life cycle assessment (LCA) can be performed in order to identify the largest
impacts of this specific production step of 3-amino-2-isopropylthio benzonitrile
(Fig. 10.2). As introduced in Chap. 5, an LCA is composed of four phases. For
