Abstract. According to the typical design of the secondary loop system of marine
nuclear power plant, the physical model of the main components of the secondary
circuit steam turbine, condenser, feed water pump and preheater is established by
using the MATLAB software. The main performance parameters of the second
loop are analyzed, and the efficiency calculation of simple Rankine cycle and
Rankine cycle with exhaust gas is completed. The optimization direction of system
parameters can be obtained by performance analysis.
1 Introduction
The second loop of nuclear power plant belongs to the typical multi-loop multivariable
thermal power system with strong coupling. Thousands of devices are organically combined, these devices are tightly coupled, any device, a process parameter changes will
have a variety of effects. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of the system,
we must study the key factors that affect the efficiency of the system and the sensitivity
of these factors by means of experiment or simulation. It is a safe, simple and effective
research method to use simulation technology to analyze the dynamic performance of
thermal system. Especially for nuclear power system, because the field test investment
is large and the risk is high, it is calculated Machine simulation studies the variation of
system performance, optimizes and improves system efficiency.
2 System Modeling
The main part of the secondary circuit system consists of steam turbine, condenser,
condensate pump, steam feed pump and valve. After the steam generated by the steam
generator passes through the isolation valve, most of the steam enters the steam turbine
to promote the propeller rotation, and part of the steam turbine generator generates
electricity to provide marine power [1, 2].
The optimization of secondary circuit parameters takes Rankine cycle efficiency as
the main optimization goal, and lays a foundation for improving the overall thermal
