From the comparative plot in Fig. 4.15, it can be seen that with C of zero value,
F z is the highest amongst all three conditions. As the amount of material extracted
did not get enough gap above the workpiece to be deposited and hence is further
plunged back into the plate, hence no channel is created in this case. Again, at
the highest clearance condition i.e. at C of 0.8 mm value the plunging force is the
minimum. Moreover, enough gap is obtained by the material excavated by the pin to
get deposited above the plate. The lowest value of F z is also not sufficient to thrust
back the complete material into the gap and close it. Hence, the height of the channel
