on estimating the Von-Mises and maximum shear stress with theoretical calculations
resulted that, stress-life approach obtained minimal error in comparison to other
approaches. The multi-axial fatigue analysis predicted the endurance limit of 1.77E
+ 07 cycles to withstand the cyclic load of maximum as 500 N and minimum of 60 N.
The results suggested that, the helical springs of multi-axial load can withstand more
number of cycles and it can absorb heavy shock loads are generated from various
machine elements.
