3 Results and Discussions
3.1 Centerline Total Pressure Decay
Primary jet centerline total pressure decay (CTPD) is a good measure to find the
zones of a CFJ. Three zones exist. They are potential core length, characteristic
decay region, and fully developed region. At the exit of the nozzle, weak shock
waves prevail which crossover resulting in reflected shock. The reflected shock again
hits the core boundary that gives rise to expansion waves. Expansion waves again
